About Facing The Future Orthodontics

The Facing The Future Orthodontics Difference

(Hint – It’s Our People)

There are lots of things that combine to make a Facing The Future smile stand out from the crowd. Our technology, our experience, our philosophy and more – but it’s our team members who really make the difference. Every member of the Facing The Future Team understands that our patients are unique individuals and deserve to be treated in a personal way. That’s why so many patients see us as extended family members – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our “front-office” staff are totally committed to making every visit a great experience. They’ve been carefully selected because they’re pre-wired to deliver top-notch customer service. No matter whether you visit our office in Riverhead or in East Hampton, we hope you’ll see what we mean.

Our clinical staff are highly trained and continue to attend continuing education events so they’ll always be experts on the latest treatments and advancements available. And, of course, they are all certified in CPR, sterilization, and other key functions related to patient safety.

Dr. Vic Grazina

MEET DR. GRAZINA

Dr. Victor J.R. Grazina– or Dr. Vic as our patients call him, lives in Westhampton with his wife, Jennifer, son, Nico, and daughter, Neila. You can find the family around the East End enjoying the beaches, farms, and natural beauty that abounds.

An admitted ortho geek, Dr. Vic is a lifelong learner and teacher of orthodontics. He earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida (Zoology and Human Nutrition) and then graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, where he was elected by his peers to be President of his class and Chair of the Ethics Committee. He practiced general dentistry in Suffolk County and Manhattan for 3 years before earning his Orthodontic Degree at the prestigious Tufts University in Boston. Dr. Vic is a Damon System Mentor as well as a specialist on lingual orthodontics (braces hidden behind your teeth). He is currently the President of ALOA (the American Lingual Orthodontic Association) where he teaches other orthodontists how to use the most invisible option available.

He has a particular passion for treating airways in children and adults as he strives to improve the overall health of the patient. He is on a mission to create a generation of adults that have healthy airways by diagnosing and treating them as children.

Dr. Grazina often volunteers his time to advance the profession and provide dental services to people both locally and around the world. Ask him about his trips to Brazil and Vietnam!

MEET DR. TAYLOR

Dr. Hailey Taylor, DDS, MS – or “Dr. Hailey” as our patients call her, grew up in Northern California but after attending Stony Brook for her orthodontic residency, chose to join us here on the East End. She and Dr. Vic work together to bring high-quality care and great results Facing the Future Orthodontics is known for. Her mom, a nurse practitioner, actually told her, “Don’t be a doctor.” So, after finishing her bachelor’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts, Dr. Hailey worked for 3 years as a chemical engineer. While she had a passion for the science of engineering, she really wanted to work with people. That’s when she decided to go to dental school. Dr. Hailey completed her dental degree at UC San Francisco and then spent 3 years at Stony Brook to specialize in orthodontics. She loves how orthodontics combines science and art and allows her to build strong relationships with the patients and families we serve.

When Dr. Grazina paired with Smile For A Lifetime (details below), he was featured in an article by the Suffolk Times! You can read the article here. This took place in 2015, when Facing The Future was better known than as Bach & Grazina. Enjoy learning how important smiles can be for kids and how Dr. Vic helps elevate their self-esteem.
